Misc. Ramblings

This year I have decided that I am going to do NaBloPoMo and NaNoWriMo. I’m not quite sure what has gotten into my brain thinking that I can accomplish both. With NaNoWriMo I need to write 1,667 words a day for 30 days. Yesterday I managed a whopping 2,212! That is better than the 1,600 I had last year. Last year the world seemed to fall down around my ears and threaten to swallow me whole and leave nothing but the shell of who I am. This year I have gotten organized and refuse to let life kick me.

I’ve been working with SheSpeaks. I was lucky enough to get into their Cerra program. And now I’m in their Torani program. I’m so excited. It’s a great thing that the FedEx man wasn’t spotted dropping off that package, I might have kissed him right on the lips. I ripped it open right away and made myself a cup of coffee. Now for my thankfulness for today.

#2: I am thankful for my kids. No matter what I have been through with them, I wouldn’t change it for the world. I love you all and can’t imagine life without you. A, J, C, C, C, C. I love you to pieces.
