Getting Older – and Fighting it Every Step
I don’t know if it’s the fact that I’m getting close to being 40 (two more years), I’m finding wrinkles, age spots and I have 6 chins, but I want to work on my skin more. So, now it’s cleanse, tone, lifting syrum every night! Is it helping me? I still have six chins….but not sure if there is enough syrum in the earth to stop that. I’m even considering some make up for the dark circles and the god awful pores. (Have I had them my entire life?)
I’m not a make-up girl. I wanted to make sure I wasn’t one of the girls who had to ‘put her face on’ before she could go out and get some milk. Hence, I know jack shit about make up and how to make sure I don’t look like a clown or French lady of the night!
I’ve been thinking about getting something like a mineral beauty bronzer – I’ve heard they help even out your complexion since it has so many colors and they mix well. I have a hard time finding the right shade. I am a Whiter Shade of Pale and I’m always picking the wrong shade for my compact (do they still call it that?) and I do look like a very pale ghost!
I’m also very into my scents. At my last count, I have about 50 bottles of different fragrances. I enjoy smelling different all the time. And, as with a book, it’s not looked upon kindly to judge a perfume by its bottle, I’m dying for Indulge. It’s not totally glamourous or dead sexy, it has an appeal of sweet beauty, and innocence. And though I’m close to 40 (I’m not telling you again) I love to seem like I’m innocent. Seriously, quit laughing. That’s not funny! Stop it. What did I just say to you? Hey….
Well, at that point (I hope you snort on your laughter) I’m outta here. Check out some of the links, you’re bound to find a good makeup that you don’t have to put on your face to get. :)

Lol, you have a great way with words!
I am very fair and really like the Loreal True Match line, they offer cool, warm and neutral options and blend easily but it IS a liquid, so may not be what you are looking for:) as for the perfumes, I received Lovely by Sarah Jessica Parker for Christmas and really like it, it is playful but not too young and has a very light but long lasting scent. I really enjoyed reading this, have a great week!
Liquid stuff isn’t much for me. I honestly hate the syrum I use. I just don’t like wet on my face. Though the Garnier is probably the least expensive and best feeling I’ve tried.
