NaNoWriMo and NaBloPoMo – Am I Nuts?

Nov 2nd, 2011 Posted in Life and Family | one comment »

This year I have decided that I am going to do NaBloPoMo and NaNoWriMo. I’m not quite sure what has gotten into my brain thinking that I can accomplish both. With NaNoWriMo I need to write 1,667 words a day for 30 days. Yesterday I managed a whopping 2,212! That is better than the 1,600 I had last year. Last year the world seemed to fall down around my ears and threaten to swallow me whole and leave nothing but the shell of who I am. This year I have gotten organized and refuse to let life kick me.

I’ve been working with SheSpeaks. I was lucky enough to get into their Cerra program. And now I’m in their Torani program. I’m so excited. It’s a great thing that the FedEx man wasn’t spotted dropping off that package, I might have kissed him right on the lips. I ripped it open right away and made myself a cup of coffee. Want to see what I got?

Yummy right? I’ll be doing a giveaway in the next week or so! So be on the look out!

Now for my thankfulness for today.

#2: I am thankful for my kids. No matter what I have been through with them, I wouldn’t change it for the world. I love you all and can’t imagine life without you. A, J, C, C, C, C. I love you to pieces.

My Review #SSCerra

Nov 1st, 2011 Posted in Life and Family, Product Review | 2 comments »

Before you check out my review, I’d like to let you know about my participation this month in National Blog Posting Month. This is going to be the first post in a series of 30 for this month. I pledge to blog every day this month.

I’m also going to give you something I’m thankful for each and every day.

#1: I’m thankful for my fiance Rob who has stood by me through thick and thin. Even though we are not married, he has fulfilled every single vow that you take when getting married. I cherish every minute I spend with him. I love you Rob, never forget.

Now on to the Cerra review. Enjoy!
